About me

UNR, September 2016
UNR, September 2016
I’m a student of Media Innovation and Journalism. My current pursuit in earning a graduate degree at the Reynolds School of the University of Nevada, Reno, brings together a diverse background in communications in Peru (my home) and extensive travels around the world.  I’ve lived in Vermont and also studied in Helsinki and spent a month in Dubai preparing for graduate school.

My undergraduate degree is in Communications from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru, in Lima.

My career experience includes different areas of media and communications. I’ve worked as a communications assistant for a NGO related to regional cuisine and cooking in Peru. I was a logistic assistant and communicator in my hometown university, within the Faculty of General Studies. I’ve recently worked as a marketing assistant for a financial company and now I’m working as a project assistant of Noticiero Móvil at UNR (hopefully for a long time!)

I feel this blog is a tribute to my strong passion for communications, traveling, photography and languages. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and want to become a public relations practitioner.

In this blog, you’ll find some of my most recent media pieces, as well as pictures and stories that have shaped my life and made me the man I am now. You’ll notice that, as a bilingual writer, the majority of my publications will be in English and Spanish. I’ll try my best to keep everything updated!

Feel free to leave any comments or suggestions if you feel that what I’m telling is worth it!
